Description

Digital Mind, in collaboration with VR-All-Art, has brought to life the “Femina balcanica” exhibition from the National Museum of Serbia using 3D scanning and virtual reality technologies. This immersive experience showcases various artefacts, including the Herculaneum Woman, Sarcophagus of Jason, and several funerary steles.

The Digital Mind team used state-of-the-art scanning techniques to create high-resolution 3D models of these artefacts, which were then optimized and processed by VR-All-Art for use in a virtual environment. Furthermore, the VR-All-Art team reconstructed the Sanctuary of Hecate in Singidunum, based on archaeological drawings, adding an additional layer of historical context to the 3D assets.

Beyond digitalizing this important cultural heritage, Digital Mind and VR-All-Art also created educational videos featuring the 3D reconstructed artefacts, which were displayed on-site at the National Museum of Serbia.
